Once again we have had an amazing time

Once again we have had an amazing time in your lovely mountain home. It feels very much like home to us now after 3 fabulous stays. We hope you will be happy to have us back for many more.

Fantastic

This was a excellent place to stay and ski and very much a home from home. It’s at the top of Whiski Jack, a peaceful neighbourhood on the bluff overlooking Creekside, which was visible through the trees . The site was very quiet even through holiday periods, with no noise or traffic passing through. Always space to park close by, with snow clearance keeping the road clear.

The house was fully appointed and came with all mod cons, including a full laundry under the stairs, and even a boot-warmer in the basement workshop. The kitchen was particularly spacious and well equipped, with the cupboards well stocked with everyday essentials and there was a breakfast bar as well as a large dining table. Upstairs, both bedrooms had ample storage, the air jetted spa bath was a godsend at the end of a hard day’s skiing, and there was a bath and shower in the second bathroom as well. WiFi, television kept us up to date with the news and there were more entertainment systems than we could use. The whole house was well heated, with individual room thermostats and underfloor heating in just the right places, and there was always plenty of hot water.

We could walk down to the piste just above Creekside gondola base, and return from the piste by the same route. However at the end of most skiing days we used to ski or download to Creekside, leave our skis and boots in the ski lockers (located under CanSki with good rate for long term rental), do some shopping in the excellent supermarket, and then walk back up, or take the bus part way, either way involving some exercise to get home. For those with a car, there is a free underground car park at Creekside.

For getting to Whistler village in the evenings we just walked down to the local bus stop. We used a monthly (calendar) bus pass, so we could hop on and off as we wished. Getting back to Vancouver was easy as both the Greyhound and Snowbus coaches stopped in Creekside.

We thoroughly enjoyed our six week stay and were very grateful for the owners’ hospitality.

Owner's Response: We are so glad you enjoyed our home and location.  We like being in a quite area yet still have access to the mountain, shopping and trails.  Trish is still jealous of your travelling life and is so looking forward to retiring in a few years when we can appreciate an extended stay like yours at our Whistler home.  Thanks again, Joe
